Our Story
Kidz Hub started out of Randy Mampuru's mother's kitchen in Soweto, South Africa. In Randy's eyes, the South African education system was failing its youth by advancing them through the system without supporting their understanding of essential concepts. Many kids fall through the cracks and are unable to reach their educational and consequent employment potential. Inspired to rewrite this narrative, Randy started tutoring primary school students in her mother's home and has used her determination for impact to grow Kidz Hub into a successful non-profit organization.

Randy Mampuru
Founder of Kidz Hub
I am an experienced social entrepreneur who studied tourism, business and project management, and recently completed the Social Entrepreneurship Programme at Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS Business School). My passion for education and the personal development of children, especially at the primary school level, led to the creation of Kidz Hub. I have volunteered and partnered with institutions such as the African Leadership Academy and the University of Johannesburg (UJ) to ensure that the team and I at Kidz Hub grow to improve the organization.
